Belizzi’s Pizza Place in Mt. Kisco – “Super kid- friendly pizza joint with, I kid you not, a padded-room for kids to literally bounce off the walls while Mom & Dad watch from their table where they can enjoy a pint & some decent (even gluten free!) pizza….” – Malene Ford

Catania’s Pizza  “Left out of the driveway onto Scarsdale Road.  Left again onto Crisfield St.  Left into driveway across from Nathan’s before you get to the Central Ave intersection.  Free parking.  Good pizza, great service.  Call ahead – (914) 779-5105 ready in 20 min.  About $18 for a large.” – Mat. Sunny Cox

Crestwood Pizza – “offers pizza by the slice and the best chef salad in the area. Great for a quick dinner or lunch when the grocery supply is low or you are in the mood for a slice or a salad! Dine in, Pick Up and Delivery are all available.” – Kh. Nicole Rice
286 Columbus Avenue, Tuckahoe, NY (914) 337-4795

East Harbor – “Chinese food – great lunch specials and great pre-fixe dinner options.  It is décor is modest but the people are friendly and the service is quick.  Best of all it is close by! Watch the meter hours as they are strictly enforced. We learned that lesson the hard way . Dine in, Delivery and Pick Up are available.” – Kh. Nicole Rice
1560 Central Park Ave, Yonkers, NY -(914) 961-0100

Eileen’s Country Kitchen – “Last semester I spent a sublime couple of hours making a lifelong memory, having been invited to an Irish diner on MacLean Ave.  It was that pleasant, that good.  So, if ever you’ve craved a proper fry-up, please, please do not miss having at least one breakfast here.”- Mat. Sunny Cox

Haiku – “We love their sushi and pad thai.  The hot & sour soup is the best we have had in the area and the service is very efficient!  Green tea and water are complimentary (sweetener available on demand).  If so inclined, they offer green tea, ginger or red bean ice-cream.  Parking is available street side and, if you take a left and go down the hill, there is a parking lot that usually has spaces available.” – Kh. Nicole Rice
56 Pondfield Road, Bronxville, NY – (914) 337-5601

Il Bacio  – “Without a doubt our favorite family place to go is Il Bacio in Bronxville.  I have listed only the menu here, but it’s great for a gelato and a pizza slice, although I had some of the best fish EVER here while dining with my husband’s parents last semester.  It’s charming, they don’t mind kids, there are heaps of veggies, and my whole family can get gelato for 10 bucks. The little movie theatre around the corner was a fun place to visit, too.” – Mat. Sunny Cox

Lefteris Gyro – Great Greek food that’s not too expensive. You don’t want to miss this one. – Mat. Amy Bozeman
1 North Broadway, Tarrytown, NY 914-524-9687

Martine’s Fine Bakery – “One word. AMAZING!  I have yet to have anything from this store that wasn’t in fact amazing.  It is within walking distance, if so inclined.  Cakes, cookies, pastries of all sorts are available.  Great for a little something sweet and a cup of coffee or espresso. Not the cheapest bakery, but definitely the best! I often park at the Crestwood train station after the permit hours expire or on weekends when not in force.” – Kh. Nicole Rice
10 Fischer Avenue, Tuckahoe, NY  914-346-8650

Pepe’s Pizza – “This is our favorite place for a pizza pie.  Eat in or Take out.  If you like garlic, then I recommend the roasted garlic be added to your pizza!  They do pizzas with and without cheese (great for fasting).  The salads are delightful and they have Diet & Regular White Birch Beer (like root beer) for anyone else on campus who wants a soda that doesn’t contain caramel color (I’m allergic to it).” – Kh. Nicole Rice
